About Us
The Kahlil Kwame Bell Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to enriching lives through the transformative power of live music. Founded by Grammy-affiliated, internationally acclaimed percussionist and composer Kahlil Kwame Bell, the foundation was established with a vision to harness live music as a powerful tool for healing, education, and community upliftment. Its mission is to bring healing, connection, and joy to underserved communities—especially seniors, youth, and individuals in care facilities—through high-quality performances rooted in jazz, African, and world music traditions. Guided by the belief that rhythm has purpose, the foundation promotes emotional well-being, cultural pride, and community unity.
The Kahlil Kwame Bell Foundation is where rhythm has purpose.
